Soshanguve Animal Shelter and Educentre

Soshanguve Animal Shelter and Educentre NPC is a non profit organisation focused on rescuing dogs in distress in Soshanguve, and educating the Soshanguve community about animal welfare. They aim to get the community and especially children involved in animal welfare, and promote responsible pet ownership. Children are encouraged to learn about the needs of animals and the valuable bonds between humans and pets. Their vision is to help every dog that needs to be rescued and educate every child about the need to take good care of animals and also how to help animals that are in need. Through various campaigns such as Walk The Dog, Hero of the Month, Make a Feeling and Youth Debates we continue to reach children and animals and encourage the need for open talk around animal care, facts and misconceptions.
